Inside CHDD’s FRP + PU Composite Innovation

Behind every CHDD Dome Home lies cutting-edge materials technology. Built using our patented FRP + PU + FRP sandwich panels, these domes combine the lightness of fibreglass with the thermal stability of polyurethane insulation — delivering unmatched strength and efficiency.

Strength Meets Simplicity

Each 60mm-thick FRP panel is precision-moulded to interlock seamlessly, forming a weatherproof shell that resists corrosion, moisture, and UV damage. The design meets windproof rating Grade 15 and seismic rating Grade 10 — proven to withstand even the harshest environments.

Panels are finished with an exterior gel coat for low maintenance and a long service life, while interior wiring channels are integrated directly into the structure.

Smart by Design

The dome’s geometry evenly distributes stress across its surface, minimising material usage while maximising internal space and light. Optional polycarbonate skylights provide natural daylight and stargazing views without heat loss.
